I don't thnk he was on the first album recording, but when they started playing live the drummer from Sunny Day Real Estate played drums for the Foo fighters. The bass player is still a member of Foo Fighters.

Expendables would work if they did it kind of tongue in cheek and instead of all former action movie stars just do it with stars of action TV shows.
