I agree in part- as a minimum wage employee, there's nothing worse than when someone comes to you with a grievance with the company you're employed by. Did I scoop your ice cream/make your burger/butter your popcorn wrong? Well okay, that I'll try to fix. But general feelings of ripped-offedness, well, in all

Been there
I went to a Watchmen midnight showing at an IMAX theatre and was completely disappointed when we got in- the screen most definitely was not much, if any bigger than a regular screen. To top it off, about 2/3 of the way through the movie, the film ripped in half, and because it was "imax quality" they said

A fellow Cincinnatian????!?! Then there's two of us who'd love to see it in the Queen City!

Sad to see it go
Though I've definitely felt mixed reactions as to the fall of print media, this is one loss I'll definitely mourn.

I agree- I remember being devastated after that movie as a kid, so much so that I couldn't stand the film.

or A Bug's Life v. Antz!

AV Inventory- most legit comedies? They can make us laugh AND demonstrate some craft!

some curve to the left, some to the right, some explode prematurely much to the embarassment to the Korean people.

Comedy can be wonderful and important and require tons of talent, yes- but just like there's good and bad dramas there are also good and bad comedies.

backfires?
Did it really backfire if the result is probably better than intended? I question the usage of this word!
(Because I am home sick today and have nothing better to do than nitpick)

The dude has got no mercy
And the award for most achewoodian article title goes to…….

agree wholeheartedly.

Well, like I said, it isn't the movies or serieses (seri?) that bother me. It's the fandom as a whole. I realize it's not fair of me to generalize, but i even went to a convention once- and the huge proportion of shrieking fangirls eating pocky and dudes who have, for whatever reason, not seen the inside of a shower

My confession.
My new favorite anime film is Grave of the Fireflies. It's beautiful and probably the most heartbreaking movie I've ever seen.

weird
Go to the website and look at the giant picture of them on the main page- Harry Shearer appears to have three hands. Weirdness.

Disney won an "honorary"Oscar for Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (the statue came with 7 mini statues).

well
After reading this news on Saturday I finally, after a month of laziness and having a new HDtv (and already having a hd cable box), bit the bullet and bought the necessary hdmi cable to watch america's most loveable losers.

Saw it last night
I still couldn't believe that it was stop-motion- if I hadn't read the interview with Selick earlier this week i would've assumed it was CGI.
