Plan 9 with Rifftrax commentary was hilarious. And most - but not all - of what made it funny was the Rifftrax crew. A lot of Plan 9 was funny by itself.

I also watched this in the theatre
To be fair, I was overseas and there weren't a whole lot of English movies that looked appealing at the time. Not that this was any better.
