I like how Anthony Zerbe has died in two different movies via his face getting all blowed up.

There are a handful of people in my life who, continuously, without irony, will describe every banality that passes by as hilaaaaaaaaarious. Louis CK's bit was a godsend.
"Silverfuck": A song that represents everything great and annoying about the Smashing Pumpkins. Boss track, too.
Shit, I just now see that I was beaten to the punch. I'm glad so many of us noticed this.
And who could forget Limewire? Where every comedy song was labeled "WEIRD AL," even the punk-cover ones and ones sung by women.
Us.
(I don't think I'm ever gonna figure it out.)
I can wait! I can wait!
I can sit here wonderin' what in the world
You're thinking aboooooout…
I just thought of something!
Rob Schneider derp de durr! De deedily derpy dumb!
At least Lower Decks is awesome, and Thine Own Self is half a great episode. (Spoiler: It isn't the Troi half.)
Coldplay sucks.
Both these episodes are solid- the best of S7 before the finale, maybe?- but they both share that lack of oomph that all the last-season eps struggled with. The Picard/Riker confrontation in "Pegasus" was metal, sure, but everything else in that ep seemed to be held to a mere simmer. And "Parallels" seemed pretty calm…
Saw TVOTR at Austin City Limits this year. Dave Sitek can at least still play the fuck out of "Wolf Like Me."
I liked "Reckoner" when Coldplay did it and called it "Clocks."
OK.
FOX- especially PBP announcer Thom Brennaman- had been playing kissy-face with the Cubs that entire postseason. I spent that entire inning laughing my ass off at their hubris coming back to haunt.
ACL '11 made me realize that a LOT of people now know the words to "Neighborhood #2," which blows my mind a little.
Still trying to make people not think King of Limbs was mediocre, eh, Thom? Keep at it, lil' feller. You'll get it right sooner or later.
Destroyer = Dan Bejar, occasionally of the New Pornographers.
