C'mon Robert Zemeckis
I know you have my lifetime pass for Back to the Future, but PLEASE PLEASE! put down the CGI and go back to live action.
Daryl "Chill" Mitchell, Mary Lynn Rajskub, and Phil Keoghan
Wow, what a stellar lineup of guests for her inaugural week on the air!
One of the most obnoxious and annoying fixtures of pop culture. I'd seriously take Kanye and Lady GaGa and Carrot Top over this painfully unfunny asshole.
…But without a stinger, wouldn't you be a dead bee? Wouldn't that be too macabre?
Okay, so nothing to do with CNN, but seriously, CNN and Sarah Palin sucks.
We're still beating that dead horse?
Huh. So THIS is why CNN is in the cellar….Sarah Palin and "fact-checking" SNL skits. kudos. I found out yesterday that despite their ratings woes, Anderson Cooper makes 10 MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR. He's like the Dave Beckham of Cable news.
Edgy Baby Hair + Ironic Baby T-Shirt = Righteous Playdate Poon
Most moms and dads aren't cool. If Will Smith and his boy jazzy Jeff taught us anything, it's that parents just don't understand.
Can you imagine the hilarity/profound sadness of Tom giving his daughter "acting lessons"?
After reading this post, I'm thinking about ending my life later.
That's true. Taking into account the T&A factor might bump this up to 8 or so, right?
I really like this album too, but I find that Fools Gold is getting a lot more repeat listens than this.
I still can't get over the way he says Espresso in BHC. Hilarious.

You should listen to the director's stellar commentary for HOOP DREAMS, as they go into detail as to why they used narration and saw it as a necessary evil (James and co. were against it). I think i t had to do with the fact that the original film was a 30 min. doc to be played on local PBS, but turned into this…
For the Hipsters Still On The Fence About Giving This Film a Try—
It has its own Criterion Collection release.
If you don't like this movie, you have no business watching movies at all. Even people who don't like documentaries in general can easily get behind this picture.
Best documentary of the 90's. Maybe the best documentary since the 70's, too. I really like Steve James' "Stevie" as well.
How could you not be? The man produces masterpiece after masterpiece, and 4-5 yrs editing and re-editing a film at this point should come as no surprise. Terence is the man, but he stumbled a bit with Thin Red Line IMHO.
