Agreed lexicondevil… especially when you factor in that a lot of these "poor" people drive gas-guzzling trucks, have $100+ weekly allowances for cigarettes, and indulge themselves in singing fish novelty gifts.

As someone who does video professionally on a daily basis, this was a LONG time coming. And its very worth it. I recently hooked up my boxes and most of my network channels (with sports, etc.) look incredibly crisp and great.

Not really, most of my network channels now appear in HD … they look great too.

My memory of the movie was very similar. I saw the big cardboard cutout, but I was like 9 years old. "Sweet! Super Mario!" I said but I never saw the movie and never rented it. I think I could tell by the horrible artwork and layout that it was going to be bad.
