I totally disagree. I watched this movie again earlier this year and was for the most part left flat. I think the show is much better, and benefits from the stream of consciousness weirdness and disjointed feel of its strange, short skits.

I thought the James Carville stuff was pretty great. The Fred Armisen follow up was less so, but I my inner luddite did delight at making a new Google doodad look stupid.
