Scott, we all hate these films. We don't want to discuss it, most of us would just as soon pretend they never happened.

good God!
Why would you put yourself through this awful, awful rehash of these movies? Why would you make us go through this sludge?

Oh. Well, that's sad. I'd actually really like to get the AVCLub's thoughts on the Heroic Age.

Marvel?
My monocle is dropping at the sparcity of Marvel on these lists. Mark me down as a request for just a smidgen more reviews. I appreciate all the indy reviews, I would just like to see the occasional review of the other big comic producer. (There is usually plenty of DC. And that Superman 701 was pretty

The army Manuals may have been like that, but I imagine the Marines quickly figured out how idiotic the manuals were.

You're a bloody fool, and I will throw my monocle at you if I have a chance.

Nope, he's a dick. Erm, I mean a brown round.

You make a good point. If enough of us do it, they will stop stocking her magazines.

Yes!
Although it is rotten of me, every time I see her soulless eyes at the supermarket check out line, I will see this, and smile.

I went to St. Joes, and knew Pingatore. He really wasn't that bad a guy, as long as basketball wasn't involved. All bets were off- he could blow his top like no one I've ever met. St. Joes eventually sued over how it was portrayed in the movie, but I don't think much came of it.

Oh, St. Joes..
I went to St. Joes in the late '90s. Pingatore was often as crazy as the film suggests. At a game on the road at Proviso West, his screaming could be heard through the floor from the locker room.

I can't think of a funnier way for him to die. We would be telling our grandchildren about that incident.

Weeeeeeeeee!
I'm very excited about this. Simon Pegg plays my namesake!

murder!
I actually liked the bits on murder. I only hope that they keep it up in the shoe, and have a clue themed episode of who killed Jay Leno. They can have Conan host it!

It was Slate that covered the previous trial. And that was great fun to read. Oh, the lives of the rich and famous…

I can't see how it wouldn't be a success. Then again, my monocle does make everything out of focus.

Under the hood
I really thought this was a movie about an undead car that played basketball. You have no idea how disappointing this trailer was to me.

Nelson Algren?
I rather like the Devil's Stocking. And the rumour is that they're coming out with his unfinished novel, "Entrapment." And Art Shay thinks it's going to be…not very good.

it's just on my laptop at work. (Yay for private office space.)

This movie…
is just incredible. My brother, who, like I, was named after characters from Trek (his first two names are James Kirk, mine are Scott Montgomery), based his life around the conversation that ends with "I don't like to lose." He got Kirk's unfailing faith in himself I got Scotty's willingness to fight
