I can't even with this episode. I was so bored I almost didn't make it all the through.

This was probably my favorite moment of the episode. My boyfriend watched it with me and we just kept repeating that line the whole time. Also the fact that CSM slapped Jeffrey twice in that scene. He might as well have called him a little bitch.

How has no one mentioned episode's best moment? The guy bothering the prostitute calls Scully "Red" and she backhands him so offhandedly, almost reflexively, as she cuffs him. She doesn't even look at him or slow down as she does it. It's absolutely awesome and hilarious and completely solidifies my love for her as

I really want someone to write some awesome fanfic about Scully's adventures with immortality. She's such a badass, she could be crime-solving for another hundred years. Although I think she would also want to die eventually and use the same method Fellig did to reclaim her mortality. Still though. There's some great

I don't know, I think Zack made a good point about Fellig being "beaten down" by his inability to finish his life and his cynicism from watching everyone else have normal lives with normal lengths. I think Lewis played it well based on those motives.

I've also heard that Gilligan used the name for Mike because in German in means something like "all-encompassing strength," which is a little reference to Mike's strong-arm cleaner character.

"All Souls"
As someone who was raised in a very religious home (but has since gone in a completely different direction), I loved the weird Christian themes in this episode. The idea of angels breeding with humans to create half-beings who don't belong anywhere is grotesque and awesome, and the little details about

Little M&S conversations like the ones in "Detour" and "Quagmire" are some of my favorite moments in the show. Not just because I like the idea of them together, but because, as Zack said, their "chatting in the dark" sessions reveal so much about their relationship. It's funny and sad and sweet. Scully singing "Joy

I don't get why you're mad about Mulder acting like himself. I agree that he should know better than to proclaim his crazy thoughts to anyone who will listen, but that's just who he is. He also makes a habit of endangering himself by flying in the face of the people who are most dangerous to him, so that's not new

I never got the sense that anything in "Kaddish" related to Scully's recent diagnosis, subtle or not. But that could be because I was so bored the whole time. Not sure why, but I found this episode really tedious. I figured with neo-Nazis, ancient mystic books, and golems I would be a lot more entertained, but I just

Seriously. I don't really understand the criticism of fans enjoying the Mulder/Scully relationship. It's hugely important to the show and it informs so much of what happens, whether it's plainly stated or not. I wouldn't call myself a "shipper" because I don't watch solely for the "will they/won't they" thing. But

No one's reading this, buuuuut…
This is my first time watching the series and my first comment after religiously reading all the reviews up to this point (even though the reviews and comments were all posted like 4 years ago). I finally felt motivated to create an account because I disagree so strongly with the
