I literally just watched the Detention trailer and said to my brother "…I can't tell if this is going to be pretty decent or a complete train wreck."  Sounds like a bit of both.

I mean… yes, he was a dick, but some of his dickish moves came off to me as someone too scared to face doing the right thing.

Yeah, I think I agree with you about Zooey Deschanel.  I liked her best (and I hate admitting I've even seen this) in Failure to Launch because they played up her creepy, off-putting nature instead of trying to make her a twee dreamgirl.  She really ought to be playing side characters that are total space cases or

I love Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive.  I think being a fan of David Lynch hinges on your threshold for weirdness, surrealism, and mystery at the expense of all else.  If you're looking for great character work and terrific plotting with just a bit of weird, you're probably going to be dissapointed.

It's not about the guy, though, since most girls have different taste in men.  It's about the girl who likes you.  She needs to be both ballsy enough to do it and not worried about flying in the face of gender norms or too wounded by rejection.  You'd think there would be a reasonable number of girls out there like

Oh my god, that illustration event.  I can't… even… I wish I lived in London so badly right now.

I just got a job and haven't been doing much other than reading more Infinite Jest and then while I'm at work narrating my life like DFW.
Mostly I've been stocking items at work.  My favorite things- Green Lantern (the movie) themed UNO (does UNO really need a theme?), and what I thought at first were just a lot of Yu

What is the context of the shitty drawing in the picture?  I have never seen this show but I have to know.

I cried during the first one.  How's that for projecting psychological issues?
