That really is the best kind of sex.

Daryl almost definitely would have been a one-note irritation if Norman didn't fight so hard to give him depth.

Oh, romance in the zombie apocalypse.

I can't see Maggie or Carol going anywhere. They need to keep their strong women around to avoid a feminist uprising.
Hershel's dead meat though.

Ooooooh snap.
My favourite pun of the week. You win.

I think when you're in a zombie apocalypse you try to keep whatever normality is possible, and when you love someone there's nothing wrong with choosing to be married, even if it's just symbolic to both of you.
And I don't see the sexism or heteronormativity there. Person A loves Person B and chooses to propose. Person

There's no way in hell. They may not be shy about killing off characters, but they have yet to kill a legitimate fan favourite.

I'm still rooting for Maggie to get the final shot at him, but I guess he's pissed off enough people that anyone kind of deserves the honour at this point.

Maybe he got lucky and found the car of someone who was a big rock fan.

Yeah, but they've been training all of the able-bodied people to fight, so they may not have the most impressive group, but they'll still have the numbers.

A-freakin-greed. I didn't necessarily expect Merle to die, but I definitely didn't expect it to be so affecting. Great job to both Reedus and Rooker.

To be fair, after watching an episode of this show, the language kinda seeps into your vernacular for a while.

I think it was just working himself up to the inevitable. Either way, it worked to great effect. I thought they both did a great job in that scene (Well, as great a job as one can do… eating a person…)

No freakin' way. The only reason he's still around is because Rick needed a moral compass for a few weeks.

I actually wasn't certain Merle would die until he showed up at the meeting site, but man, what a way to go! And at least he redeemed himself by killing a few henchmen while he was at t.

I have trouble believing they'll kill any of the fan favourites just now. I can see them killing Hershel though. His role has really been to keep Rick in line, and now that Rick's self-corrected, I think Hershel's role is pretty much over.

Oh man, that hurt. I didn't expect Merle's death to bother me, and I guess in and of itself it didn't, but Daryl having to kill him? And the parallels between the way he savagely killed zombie Merle and the way Carol killed her husband… and just the overall amazing performance from Norman Reedus in those last moments…

I liked this episode. Though as a life-long Spice Girls devotee, I resent the implication that it's a guilty pleasure. If loving me some Spice is wrong, I don't want to be right!

Yeah, they didn't use Annie to her full potential, that's for sure. But I understand why she was there. It made sense for her character to want to help Greendale, now matter how she had to do it.

His complaints were mostly that he didn't think the jokes were funny. Considering he actually put a modicum of effort into this week, it seems like this was more up his alley.
