Totes missed that one, but now that you mention it, a Caddyshack rewatch is definitely necessary.
Say what you will about Chevy, in his heydey, he was in some pretty freaking awesome movies.

Definitely a "buy".
I noticed that too, lol. Made my OCD kick up a notch.
I think if Chevy had more episodes like this one he probably would have been more pleasant, but 9 times out of 10, he's there to be the idiot. This time around he actually got to be a sympathetic character.
God knows, they probably ARE a pair of Jeff's underwear.
Or "Why did I have to go third!"
They used to be better at either integrating everyone into one or two stories, or sidelining people when need-be. Particularly in season 1 and 2 they were fine with shelving people for a week.
Agreed. I kind of wish they had left Britta and Abed out of it after the opening scene, since they really didn't have anything for them to do. I feel like the new guys are afraid of leaving someone out for an episode, as if that's going to make some kind of statement that they don't value that character.
Not just Jeff texting Annie, but Pierce's seemingly legitimate glee about Jeff texting Annie. It was one of those moments where you really got to see how much Pierce actually 'cares' about these people, as opposed to just wanting people to care about him.
Agreed, and honestly, if they gave Chevy more episodes like this he probably wouldn't have been so hostile about the show and the writing. He was clearly tired of always being the asshole, so having an episode where he's the character you feel for must have been a nice change of pace.
Leonard likes this post.
Gotta love Vicki as the girl who just got her period.
Sidenote: who eats chips in bed? Crumbs, people!
It's been a while since Annie pulled out the full-blown Disney face. I love that it's basically Jeff's kryptonite.
Really like the mixed pairings this week. Shirley and Troy getting a real story together was great to see, and Jeff and Pierce were actually kind of lovely together. Pierce has become a little toooooo "Pierce-ish" this season, so this episode was a breath of fresh air for him.
It was just one time! It shouldn't have such life-altering consequences!
Hey, hey, hey! You say what you want about this dumb movie, but leave Independence Day out of this!
Wait, hold the phone… people know I like Malcolm? Shit, I thought I was being covert.
There are a handful of folks on the weaker tribe who could probably pull the vote, depending on how the season shakes down. Michael seems to be well liked, as are Dawn and Cochran. I can't see any of them actually making it to the end though.
Ha! Yes!
