Oh Malcolm, you don't lie. You're perfect. You save kittens from trees and teach inner city kids to do algebra and shit. Don't ever change.

So fucking good. All of the characters were perfectly badass this week, which is my favourite way to see them. I especially loved Ava not just throwing her brandy in Augustine's face, but threatening him with a lighter - that was a delightfully dark place for her to go.

As someone who has never seen Downton Abbey, their mocking of it was absolutely hilarious to me. I'm sure the show is every bit as brilliant as people say it is, but honestly, their version is all I can picture when I think about it.

I get the irritation with Andrea, and feel it 90% of the time, but she doesn't deserve that treatment in this episode. Hell, she fought zombies and elements for an hour just to warn her friends of a coming massacre. That's got to earn her some points somewhere.

I hated Dale too.

You can hate a character regardless of gender. What's sexist is that the writers haven't figured out to make a strong, yet likeable female character outside of Maggie, who is still only really there because she's getting boned by Glen.

I might have been more interested if Rick had let them into the group, because I understand the new characters based on how they interact with the established characters. So far, we've only really seen Tyrese's group interacting as a unit, which doesn't help me really get to know them or care about them in the context

I kept expected Mockingjays to start singing back.

He actually freaked the crap outta me, probably more than he has all season, including when he was threatening to rape Maggie.

I think half the problem with Andrea is that we don't spend enough time with her to see her process and understand her motivations. We get snippets,  but ultimately we only see her for the big moments and her thought process can be unclear. While I don't love spending an entire hour away from the prison, I was

My one complaint about this episode (well, the one worth mentioning at least, there are many) was the lazy way they did Ryder's "spelling mistakes". Dude has dyslexia - there was a whole episode about it (not that I expect Glee writers to remember major plot points). His spelling mistakes are going to be more than

I pretty much assumed it was Jake from the get-go. Pulling a Tuiasosopo/Manti Te'o thing.

Well, for me this was the weakest so far. No matter what they do, they just can't make Chang interesting to me, and centring an entire episode around his clearly fake "Changnesia" was not going to turn the tide there. I also felt it was kind of a retcon of all they've done with Jeff this season to have him actively

But it can't just be editing. I mean, you can only edit so much in. One night he's talking about quitting and the next morning he's totally back in… he's all over the place. It could all be one manic episode, but god only knows.

I've been genuinely impressed with how well Philip's been doing in challenges this season. For some reason I don't remember him being such a powerhouse before, but that could be because he was overshadowed by Boston Rob. The guy's got some skills!

I don't see psychopath. Psychopaths have no emotional attachment, and it's clear that Brandon "feels" things very deeply, to the point of becoming delusional and careless. I'm with @avclub-f8063f1b0b35246aaecc6911f3981d81:disqus - looks like a clear-cut case of bipolar disorder. He's super up one moment, super down

Hopefully dude's got meds at home.

I'm kinda hoping they took Brandon directly to a Psychiatrist. Dude's in serious need of mood controlling meds.

We didn't see what happened before Merle ended up in the ring with Daryl. There was ample time for Merle and the Guv'nah to cook up a plan.

At this point I'm feeling pretty confident that Merle was sent to the prison by the Guv'nah to bring Michonne back to Woodbury for him.
