I think you're right. More specifically, I think it's the serialization that tends to be more prevalent these days. In the past, most shows were extremely episodic. You wouldn't expect Ricky Ricardo to remember whatever caper Lucy pulled the previous week, much less who a guest star was.

I think I understand. In death, a member of Project Mayhem has a name. His name was Robert Paulsen.

Take my money, please!

No. The only reason I know that Gil Gerard played Buck Rogers was because I image-searched the robot to make sure I wasn't conflating something else. About all I remember from watching it as a kid was the following:
-Laserguns
-Some kind of bird-based alien guy
-Aforementioned penis-headed robot.

I never noticed how much the Missile Command guy's helmet looked like a penis. Ditto the robot on Buck Rogers.

I got it for free direct from De La last year. I believe it was from contributing to their Kickstarter, they gave away digital copies to all of their previous albums.

Probably. It's also possible he was tired of shouting every line. But he couldn't just regain his hearing for everything - that would be crazy. It's much more logical to have him able to hear one person in town, who just happens to be a beautiful woman.

YOU ARE WITNESSING A FRONT THREE-QUARTER VIEW OF AN ADULT MAKING A WRITING ERROR.
Acts like he's never seen a Newswire before.

After reading the headline, I was afraid this would be an adaptation of The Map of Time. I love that book, but I don't want to see it adapted. Half the fun of it is the style of the writing.

The most nefarious of subversive agendas.

Protip - mute the phone and flush away.

It got considerably worse in the last 2 seasons. You really dodged bullet.

Donna Bowman does the reviews for Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, and she is awesome at it.

I don't listen to XM very much, but Cousin Brucie on the 60s station is the worst.

I vaguely remember something from Colbert. I believe they were trying to get a module for the International Space Station named "Colbert." Obviously, "Colbert" won in a landslide, but they didn't follow through exactly. They ended up naming the module after the 2nd place winner, and named a treadmill COLBERT (it

I was surprised that whenever Mrs. Pucci wasn't on screen, the other characters never asked "Where's Poochie?"

The A.V. Club
Don't apologize. You can make it the next AV Club meme.

Yeah, it's not like AV Club took themselves to task over the Leonard Pierce scandal. They canned him and apologized. Apparently, that's considered passing the buck when it's someone else.

You mean Yara Greyjoy is actually Xaro Xhoan Daxos? I haven't seen that theory before, but it adds up.

Jon-a-ten!
