Thank god someone else doesn't think Adore is a steaming pile.  I love that album.

That's a bingo!

Nah.  He's like Kim Kardashian:  beautiful, popular, and makes a fuckload of money for no discernible reason.  Eventually Ryan will realize the benefits of trading him to say, Cleveland.

I'm with @itisdancing:disqus.  Hot Sauce was on constant rotation for me when it came out, and I consider it my favorite Beastie record, despite Hello Nasty and Paul's Boutique being absolutely phenomenal records.

My favorite is Spirit Crusher by Death.  The screams in the chorus are fucking amazing.

@avclub-bb181e83b9ac6be1b28b2a2b26dcd73e:disqus is right.  I'm a Jets fan and I can't wait until we trade him.

Yeah, what's with the lack of love for Superfly?

He still has all of his fingers in these pictures….ten to one Candie mutilates his hand with the hammer and Django creates jazz in the epilogue as a way of expressing his sorrow.

@avclub-4c56756898d633b36107f305da70351d:disqus , it may be his opinion I'll grant you that.  But an @avclub-bd6db8346527b61b67be99c93d42c986:disqus liking "Web in Front" over "Funky Drummer"?  Impossible!

I suppose it might be of interest that Gene Krupa was one of Bonham's inspirations.

"I grant every song here except anything with Bonham"  Yeah….the four drummers on here who were heavily influenced by Bonham beg to differ from your ignorance.

Yeah, I saw the Shyamalan endorsement and was turned off.  Then I saw the Albini endorsement (if you can call it that) and felt my music boner becoming conflicted.  However, this is good shit.

It can't be stressed enough that this obituary is a genuinely beautiful tribute.  Hat's off, Mr. Hyden.

Three of my good friends are ultra-conservative and think Colbert is a godsend because stupid liberals are willing to watch his show.  Kills me.

Hey hey hey.  Fuck you, I need a way to kill and cook my meat at the same time.

It's partly right.  You're leaving out the part where a prominent Jewish douchebag calls the first douchebag a douchebag also, meaning he sides with the second douchebag concerning the second douchebag's comments about the first douchebag.

Which show you going to? I'm heading to the Pittsburgh show on the 15th.

I'm going to go with White Light/White Heat as my favorite VU record (and also the best), but where the fuck is Sterling Morrison in this review? You mention Cale, Reed, Tucker, and goddamned Doug Yule but don't mention the fact that Morrison's guitar playing helps make "Sister Ray" the monster that it is?

What about Machina 2? I would argue that album to be just as good as anything Mellon Collie and before.
