Nah, Boise isn't too bad. You gotta watch yourself up in the neck - Bonner's Ferry, Sandpoint, Cour d' Laine. Don't be non-white or a Democrat.
I love the album Lola vs. Powerman and the Moneygoround, and that Wye Oak cover is wonderful. This one is good too.
I still haven't seen Darjeeling Limited, partly because I know that "This Time Tomorrow" is used. I have such a crystallized, specific association with that song and I'm afraid if I see the movie and the…
Let's just go out for some frosty chocolate milkshakes and forget all about this Doris person.
I know. I still love the song, but I'm a sucker for story-songs like that. And I think Warren's delivery roughs up some of Albom's sentimentality. But apparently they were really good friends. Which just begs another round of asking "Why, Warren, why?"
The best thing Albom has done was contribute lyrics to Warren Zevon's "Hit Somebody."
Yes, this.
"Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either!"
-The Hitcher (from The Mighty Boosh)
I was at work when I made that comment (still am), but is that where they inscribed "Take that, Huskers"? I couldn't remember if it was on the run-out groove, or written somewhere in the gatefold. I'll have to double check that when I get home.

And from the first shouted cry of "Serious as a heart attack!" - I was hooked. That cassette didn't…
I'm almost surprised they don't have one based around cops assigned to high schools. Law & Order: Locker Inspectors Unit.
Thanks, I was getting a headache trying to read the link in the article.
David Cronenberg's 'Peanuts'.
He seems to attach himself to just about everything I love musically - that's depressing enough for me.
Oh lord I haven't watched morning TV in so long. I had to look up what he looks like now. Yeah, Roker's weirder looking.
Hey, it's a neat trick for dinner parties.
Skinny Drew Carey just looks weird. I'm happy for the guy for getting healthy, but in my mind he should still look like the portly guy with a crew cut.
The girl from Beakman's World?
There has to be a band out there called "Your Mom" that can tour with these guys, right?
I really need to see that. For some reason, the example that sticks out most to me is at the beginning of 'Transformers'. The Josh Damel-whatever his name is character - I don't think he takes a picture out of his pocket, but he does say "I just can't wait to get home to my little girl." He doesn't end up dying, but…
