I have to disagree about a couple things. Reilly is fine, and her opeining, pre-crash scene is interesting, but I felt the film screeched to a grinding halt whenever she was on screen after that. I felt the story of the character was compelling enough, and the domestic scenes seemed oddly both out of place and

This won't surprise anyone, but on Oasis' first US tour, I saw them in Indianapolis. About 4-5 songs in, Liam flipped off the crowd and stormed off stage. The rest of the band looked at each other trying to figure out what was up, finished the song, then left the stage. a few minutes later, some poor roadie had to

Didn't Betty Thomas direct that HBO version of 'the Late Shift?"  That's a really underrated movie. She nailed the tone of a very potentially tough piece of work. And leno doesn't even come off like a lowest common denominator sell out!

That's like saying being punched in the face is an improvement over being spiked in the knee with an icepick. I'm not sure monkeys crapping on computers (with copies of final draft) wouldn't be an improvement to the dialogue in juno.

grading on a curve at its most egregious. and "vital artist"? that's like calling cotton candy a "vital part of one's daily nutritional intake". vitality implies longevity. songs that are so lacking in impact you forget them WHILE you're hearing them will never make an impact.

I was pissed off at first bc I had recorded this and, as usual, espn decided to show something else instead of their scheduled programming and I only got the 1st half. I set to record the next viewing, and started watching the half I had, and by about 10 minutes in, I realized that this was just the story of one

I've said it bfeore… every movie… EVERY movie… is better with a zombie or a dinosaur. The flip side… every movie is worse with a musical number. It's true. Nothing has ever been better as a musical.

has anyone noticed a link between the use of the font for this film (and hundreds of others) and a concurrent lack of quality in the films themselves? I actually call it the "fart movie" font, and I can't remember a single film that used it that didn't completely suck, although i may be wrong…. can someone give

It is to my deep, deep shame that i cannot stop watching "hardcore pawn". everyone involved in the show is despicable ordepressing, yet every single episode features at least one or two people who don't get the concept of a "pawn shop" and how they make money (but stuff waaaayyyy below its value, sell it slightly
