I was kinda dreading she'd take it, then just hurl it into the ocean.

I'm also assuming Pike made at least one escape attempt on the way to Polis, and that slowed them down.

It would be interesting to see how exactly Alie's sales pitch to Jaha went.

Bellamy definitely has very strong feelings for Clarke, but I'm not so sure if they're romantic. I actually think his feelings towards Clarke may actually be similar to his feelings towards Octavia, but with the crushing sense of responsibility either gone or flipped in the other direction.

How it seems to work, according to Grounder beliefs, is that if the Commander's spirit has chosen you, it will arrange for all the other Nightbloods to die so you can take command.

Well, he did lose his mom, but pretty much everyone on this show is sans one or more parents.

But when it happens to Murphy, it's funny!

Chipped!Abby trying to seduce Kane may actually be one of the most disturbing things this show has ever done, and as we all know, that's saying a LOT.

Yeah, saying "By the way, if you take this, you'll have to go to war with the crazy woman everyone thinks is really the Commander, plus a megalomaniacal machine intelligence" . . . not the best sales pitch.

To be fair, that kid was Murphy. He's pretty beat-uppable.

I dunno, I think we got pretty much the same amount of grieving time for Lexa as we got for Finn. He died at the end of 2x08, Clarke was in a deep funk for all of 2x09, but then she never directly mentions him again for the rest of the season. Clarke is big on compartamentalizing her emotions when there's a task that

Titus told Clarke that a Nightblood who flees the Conclave is supposed to be hunted down and killed, but Lexa forbid him from doing that to Luna. So we know there was at least some affection on Lexa's end; it seems like a reasonable gamble to assume it runs both ways.

You're absolutely right that it's the irrationality of Pike and Bellamy's decision that seems to really stick in people's craw. Because of how rushed episode 4 was, I don't think many viewers have accepted that they REALLY believed the Grounder army was going to attack them.

Well, a lot depends on your opinion of stuff like genociding Mount Weather or allowing the attack on TonDC. Most of us have been on the "Clarke did what she had to do" train there, but I'm thinking the writers may not be as on board with excusing her behavior as we are.

Oh my god, PLEASE let them do #4.

"This is way more fun with a second person!"

Technically, the explanation for Thor is that science IS magic.

I'd say it comes down to the fact that (particularly when it comes to sitcoms) television used to borrow heavily from stage plays, but that has since fallen by the wayside.

I dunno about "never heard (or, at least, understood,) a joke in his life."

Can someone explain why there are "men's sizes" and "women's sizes" for shoes? Particularly for sneakers, which are about as unisex as a piece of clothing can get?
