Unless you've got a radiation-based birth defect, apparently. Then you get left in the desert to die.

This review, and some others I've read online, have complained about how much exposition and setup is in the Pilot, but I actually really liked that! Having the characters just talk with each other a bunch gave us a lot of funny lines and some nice touches of character development.

Apparently, the Monty/Miller ship is called Minty, which is just too, too awesome.

It took me a while to realize that Desert Grounder Sienna was Garza.

Nah, she's just in a Resurrection Ship somewhere.

We saw they had old videorecordings on the Ark. Maybe every kid on the Ark's grown up watching the same Sesame Street episodes.

I'll admit, I'm not the most knowledgable on how Hollywood contract negotiations work, but isn't it standard negotiating tactics to start off with a lowball offer, and only offer more money if the first offer is turned down?

This.

Agreed. They really just barreled ahead and just accepted the goofiness of the scenario.

He assumes that, if all goes well, he'll be returned to the exact moment he left, so Felicity wouldn't even know he was gone.

You do realize he ended the episode by saying "I like to kill people", right?

That was a good moment, but I actually liked the moment from the Season Five finale better.
Ben: "What about me?"
Jacob: "What about you?"

Haven't seen characters on this show be so relaxed since that time Clarke joined a game of beer pong.

And now we've hit 200

Well, they've got bits of real panther. Maybe they covered up the smell with sex panther cologne.

Well, a lot of Grounderspeak IS just modern slang said with a weird accent. Not saying the characters didn't pick it up awfully fast, but it's probably one of the easier languages to learn.

Yeah, bringing Jasper along was definitely dumb. I'm gonna assume that, in addition to The Illiad, someone found a copy of Blues Brothers at Mount Weather, and Bellamy couldn't resist putting the band back together.

I love how the Jaha/Murphy evolved from Jaha inspiring Murphy to Murphy being the one calling out how crazy Jaha has gotten, and it happened so gradually you almost don't realize that's what happening for a while.

Well, if you START with Season 2, you're not going to know who any of the characters are, and the way they start the season scattered to the four winds doesn't make getting to know them very easy.

Plus, this may be the first time we've seen a Clarke that doesn't have other people to worry about, which sort of opens up a whole new side of her.
