Anyone with an opinion like that, y'know, "all music after year x is terrible", "they don't make good music anymore", "it was better when I was young" - those are the people whose opinions about music you can discard.

Point being that I don't think people should take what you (or anyone else) say about their use of their own time to heart. If people are happy with what they're doing, they should be doing that - life's shitty enough as it is without people stopping to do things they enjoy.

The man's life revolves around a drug. He's almost 50.

Sorry, I've never seen an episode of this show, but a couple of questions:

Does this show still pretend to be based on the Danish show?

WOW SUBTITLES

Link to a video clip of it? Couldn't find any. Or just write it out, if you can't either.

*Dagmer Cleftjaw throws Theons shoe up Winterfell Tower*

Finally! Finally some edge to it all. Not nearly enough though, need something a la the Glen meltdown in TTOI, or Hugh hiding in a closet, or Malcolm heading towards depression after losing his job.

I don't like how they've changed Beric Dondarrion and Thoros of Myr into someone who would sell one of their own. They were some of my favourites in the book, now they're kinda shit.

@avclub-3db41011acc2d229176bf6a92202728d:disqus I mean, being a stone cold sociopath must be an immense advantage in a feudal society like this, right? Even more so than now.

We'll go with genius. Yeah, I know, but his particular niche in the sex offender world is frankly quite funny.

He seems like the kind of guy who needs to be an outsider while at the same time needs to sit at the cool kids table, which explains his bell-endedness towards others while at the same time yearning for their acceptance and acknowledgement.

Set him free is exactly what she was doing. Lannisters are in control of King's Landing, they own the city. Was he then supposed to return to her after reaching KL? No. He was to be trusted with the faith of her offspring. Why wouldn't he just have Brienne killed? Voila, now he's a free man. I doubt he cares much

Here are the things Robb has done wrong:

Keeping his insipid moron of a mother around, looking like a complete mug to his subordinates in the process. I could totally see where Karstark came from. Christ almighty, how frustrating must it have been to sacrifice yourself and your kids for the triumvirate of incompetence that is Catelyn, Robb and Edmure?

I know a guy named Viking.

It's a good, sturdy, watchable comedy. I agree with you about the satire characterizations, though. Here's an example of the differences between the shows I just thought of:

More power to ya, I recommend TTOI though. I just don't find this very funny beyond a "yeah, that's a good one-liner" point. If I did, I'd probably let things slide a lot more.

I don't get this show at all. No sense of urgency, no sense of any actions having consequences. It feels more like a straight up bog-standard comedy than the razor-sharp satire it's touted as. It's nothing compared to The Thick of It, which I just started watching, and that made me realise how flat Veep is in
