Maybe my Don and Roger fan fiction will finally come to fruition.
I have been in Adam's position so many times when someone talks to you about sports and you don't know what to do.
I couldn't help but be annoyed by that line. There are no Sandra Bullock movies in the theatre at the moment.
Nothing tops Shosanna going to Dylan's Candy before the abortion.
I really love how this season has been so dark and almost devoid of comedy. That being said, one of the things that really clicked with me in the first season was Hannah and Marnie dancing together at the end of the third episode. It was such a fun and carefree moment. I realise that the characters can't constantly be…
Even if the murder doesn't include a rape, those fastidious CSI-ers always find semen…
Another great butt moment: Hannah fixing her underwear in the elevator.
Just the tip…
It seems like everyone is picking out a favourite from the list (even though I pretty much love all of them) Revolutionary Road is brilliant. Really gorgeous writing. The characters are so richly drawn.
The UK Office is great, but my all time favourite Office episode is from the US version - The Dinner Party. It's so fantastically painful but I love it!
NOoooo! I love Punch Drunk Love. Maybe I'm just a sucker for rom-coms, but the film is so deliciously dark and twisted and yet unavoidably sweet as well. Emily Watson and Sandler are so great in it and the film really explores how perfect these two messed up folks are for each other.
It's far from a perfect episode (or even close to the best the show can do), but I've always really loved "Shoot". It was kind of our first real encounter with Betty and I think Jones was really great in it. Betty's oppression is just so damn heartbreaking.
I really like that episode. I think season 5 is pretty much littered with all time best episodes for the show and Mystery Date (is that the name of it?) pales a little in comparison, but I really liked the genre bending, with such a pulpy and horror-esque plot.
When I saw the title for the article, Eternal Sunshine and Lost in Translation were the first titles to pop into my head. I don't think I love two films as much. I rewatch them all the time and they still seem so fresh and daring.
The Wire is fantastic, yes. But The Simpsons, for me, will always be the greatest tv show of all time.
I was practically a foetus…
I always loved it when they really humanized Emily.
I saw the pilot for Scandal and the fast paced dialogue seemed so goddamn forced. Gilmore Girls delivered it with ease and style. Take note, Scandal.
I JERK OFF WHENEVER THE CHARACTERS DISPLAY THEIR COMPLEXITIES!!!
