Which is a really well-done attraction, from the queue to the ride itself.

Story of my life. Pushes the degree of difficulty and fails to stick the landing.

"My fucking kids never shut up about Earth Day."

The family and I will gather 'round and watch this on our 7" Philco television set.

Point taken.

Kirk Douglas. 98.

The oldest one, the one who had a multitude of childhood illnesses, and some of those involving actual brushes with death. Peace and Love, Richard Starkey, M.B.E.

Yep, see Banks, Ernie.

That's the thing. I'm not young anymore. I'm 53. My initial post was just how old it makes me feel when actors, etc. I grew up watching have been gone for quite a while. It's like how my childhood sports stars are now long retired, and many already in their sports halls of fame. It sucks!!!!

Chicago Sun-Times columnist Neil Steinberg wrote a book about men and hats a few years ago. He stated that the haberdasher industry had been on a fairly steep decline even before JFK.

Oh, but that theme song is exquisite. Perhaps one of the coolest songs ever. Peyton Manning even danced to it on SNL.

And in outdoor settings, every man has a hat on.

It's not terribly similar, but I'm one of those who watch an old movie and wonder if anyone on my screen, from stars to extras, is still alive. We just did it last night with The Ten Commandments. It was 1956, and there were a lot of kid and baby extras, so there has to be at least a few still around to watch

Yvonne de Carlo was a very beautiful woman. When she first appears in The Ten Commandments, my annual tradition is to say "hey, it's Lily Munster!"

I don't subscribe to HBO, so I'm hoping this doc is available with that "Watchathon" week coming up. Likewise, the Scientology doc by Gibney.

"Carnival" was part of the soundtrack to the first Austin Powers movie. It's a great song on an excellent collection of great songs. Really.

The Dianetics book at 4:10 was admittedly a nice touch.

More Bob Bell. Heyyyyyy, Coooookieeeee!

You know, it's one of those "cult" albums that sincerely, honestly is one of those shoulda been way more popular and successful than it was.

The Foo Fighters version is pretty sweet too. Hope this embeds.
