Not to shill for the cable companies or anything, but I watch it from On Demand. Every now and then, they post it without commercials, or with just the E! promos.

That's Tom, the stage manager for many years. I think he goes back to the days of Talk Soup with Kinnear.

Someone might be trying to tell me something, but I got a Gayusa notification for this.

This is genuinely good news. Watching the Soup is a highlight of my week. It is just about consistently hilarious. Plus, it looks like lots of famous funny people thoroughly enjoy showing up and joining in. Aaannnnyyywaaay…

Will it use Blondie's "Call Me," or some lame contemporary cover?

Not being overly hip to the musics of today, for a moment I thought you meant Lulu the 60's singer. Why would Metallica want to cover "To Sir With Love?"

That's a beautiful Gretsch. Is that the "Tennessean" or the single-bout Country Gent?

Yeah, a little bit of the law of diminishing returns for me, too.

"Even a man who is pure at heart and says his prayers by night
May become a wolf, when the Wolfbane blooms
And the autumn moon is bright.
Or not."

Our village had a recycling drive this past weekend. One of the municipal garages had a veritable mountain of rejected and obsolete electronics. I nosed through for old times sake, and I saw more than a few higher-end cassette decks from Pioneer, Sony, etc. I was very tempted to help myself, but cooler heads prevailed.

I kinda thought Moore would've like "What You're Doing" solely for Ringo's "Be My Baby" drumbeat quote. Wasn't he involved in that BackBeat soundtrack with a lot of other alternative artists?
