DAMMIT I had that in my notes to quote. Dammit dammit DAMMIT.

Really? Peet dies about two-thirds of the way through the movie, and never really has much of a character before that (except for a scene she has with Mulder just to make sure we'll be sad when she's killed). Agent Drummy had even less to do.

Even better, May 31 is my birthday!

The story ends with Scully just getting ready to start the next round of surgery—basically, the important fact is that she's made her decision and kept her faith. We never find out about the kid. (I'd assume he survived, though, if I had to guess.)

See? Todd cheats.

Yes.

Oh, I don't remember it as "hard," exactly. I just sucked at racing games, and didn't like them enough to keep playing.

That was one of the first SNES games I ever owned. I don't even like racing games much—don't know why I had that one. I never got very far in it. This is not a good anecdote.

You poor fool. What do you think the Internet is, a Republic serial villain? They did it a year ago.

And I still think this assumption, while technically correct (ie, the best kind of correct), ignores the entire focus of the episode. By stripping Sisko and the others of any power to affect events, you turn the hour into an airless tragedy which none of the characters recognize. These people aren't idiots; if they

I'm not sure yet. I'm probably going to pitch doing "Dogs Of War" as a single episode review going into the finale, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Literally no idea. Not my department.

Next week is the finale.

I think it's far, far more interesting if Evil Morty was the one in control, so I'm just going to assume that's the case until we see evidence otherwise.

Yeah, that's why I said "mind-controlled" in the stray observations and mentioned Evil Morty.

I think he's fourteen because the writers said he was fourteen. I forgot! It happens. I was not trying to change the universe, although I can definitely edit this review.

SPOILERS

I like that you put 8 SPOILERS tags and still didn't mention the other guy's name. You would make a good spy.

I think that grumble from Lisa is pretty essential. It undercuts the sentiment of the moment and storyline as a whole in s way that isn't so much mocking as it is, "There are still other people around, and this isn't _that_ big a deal." I like it a lot.

I haven't watched it as an adult, no. It could be awful, but I liked it as a kid, and that's enough for me. (Also, I still have "I'll get it!" "The lastest reincarnation did not go according to plan" pop up in my brain from time to time.)
