I was getting weirded out that no one had called me an idiot yet, so thanks.

Ahhh, thanks. (Also, ew.)

I was surprised at how much I liked Halloween 4; doesn't hold a candle to the original, but it falls into the Psycho II pattern of "This isn't really necessary, but I enjoyed it anyway."

Possibly, although it's still 20 minutes of movie in a 100 minute bag. But then, I thought Halloween II was pretty lousy as well.

Yeah, I'd assumed it was her as well.

For context, I tried to watch the Once Upon A Time pilot, but couldn't get past the twenty minute mark. (I've heard the show gets better, though.)

Wow. I went to college with Mary. We were in the same class—even did a show or two together. (Although I'm not sure we ever were on the stage at the same time?) She was pretty brilliant even then.

Check out FROM BEYOND and the BLACK CAT episode of Masters Of Horror; both have Combs working with Stuart Gordan, the director behind RE-ANIMATOR, and they're excellent. (Combs pays Edgar Allan Poe!) Also, he's pretty good in THE FRIGHTNERS, which is over-stuffed but fun.
