Two deaths in the 'main characters dying' gripe are TERRIBLE selections for being annoyed at the trope. Mal's death in Firefly was played for a commercial break cut laugh. "Oh, he's dead." Sherlock's death was about the mystery of how he faked his death. Neither was about real suspense.
