The Ghost Writer?
Too bad this masterful suspense didn't get any mention. It was one of the best movies I saw this year, far better than Shutter Island.

Agreed. The running gag with Crispin Glover was pretty funny.
Lovecraft's The Outsider
I have always wanted to spoil a party like that!
I believe Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Gremlins were responsible for the pg-13 rating being created, and Red Dawn was one of the first films to have that rating.
Fugazi
Saw them many years ago in Tokyo, and for some reason half of the audience consisted of US military personnel who were built like oxes.
I too saw them in Tokyo when they first came here, and I have to tell you, Gary Young, their original drummer was just wild, wild, wild. I saw them again years later and although they were good, it was nothing compared to the initial experience.
The only missing footage I really want to see is the fight between Freder and Rotwang, and Maria's subsequent escape - that scene seems very important and no text explanation would do justice.
Misnomer !
This film is not complete, still missing a couple of footage. But it is truly a great film and Brigitte Helm is just wonderful. One of the best films I have ever seen.
Finnegans Wake
riverrun. Its last word is supposed to recur and connect with the very first sentence. Or so I heard. the
Just checked Wikipedia and it says that Munch is mentioned in BBC's LUTHER as "an American contact for the series' Serious Crime Unit (SCU)" , which is pretty cool. I think he should be mentioned in next G.I. JOE movie as well.
Too bad its complete DVD box set has been out of print for quite some time now. The reissue is seriously overdue.
How to Train Your Dragon
That was better than Toy Story 3. I've said this before and I will say it again.
Storytelling
Wasn't Todd Solondz' STORYTELLING meant to be a criticism against the documentary style of AMERICAN MOVIE? I hardly got what that movie was about though.
This interview has stimulated my Shatner's Bassoon.
No fanservice boob shot is unnecessary. Ever.
Ra's al Ghul
Speaking of Batman, I always find Ra's al Ghul's motivations quite understandable - he just wants to destroy a chunk of mankind so that he can save Earth and wildlife.
There's much more
In TVland, there was a time that a cold open with a woman having a sex was considered "groundbreaking" by producers, especially on failed TV series.
"The Visitor" is indeed a great episode. Rabin should check it out now. (along with "Far Beyond the Stars").
How To Train Your Dragon
is better than Toy Story 3.
Don't forget the fact she was once married to Luc Besson as well. She really has a shitty taste in movies and husbands.
