He acted as a "teenage slacker" in Raymond Pettibon's film Sir Drone and looked like my dad.

Agreed. He fucking steals every scene he's in, even in a small role like the cancer patient in the pilot episode ER, or Weather Wizard in the botched Justice League pilot.

Maybe they are going to use that "exciting new alphabets" in The Onion article.

Speaking of side characters, the Other Asian had his first line!

Maybe that works as his seatbelt.

His shoe
For some reason I a huge anticipation to watch Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe ever since I heard about it, and just imagine my colossal disapointment when I finally saw it on Criterion DVD: he didn't eat the sole, and ate just one shoe.

Hello?
100 Bullets, anyone?

For the historical record, this was initially shown in two theatres but then expanded to more than four theatres thanks to its popularity. One news states that it was expanded to 35 screens all over Japan, so it did cause big reaction from Japanese audience.

Speaking of Japanese outrage, Chinese filmmaker's documentary about Yasukuni Shrine caused much, much bigger furor in Japan, for being deemed "un-Japanese". I guess some people just can't stand having their nation portrayed negatively, even in the movies.

CUBE
Was he crazy or just mentally handicapped? In any ways, not only he was right but (spolier) he was the only survivor of that ordeal.

C?
I am not a grade! I am a free man!

But where's DOLLHOUSE?

His acceptance speech was good, but Marketa's was even better and moving. Kudos to Jon Stewart (or Oscar producers) for allowing her to make the speech after the commercial break.

Rorschach
The fact he got offered the role only means how out of touch Zach Snyder was from the beginning.

I know Robocop 3 usually gets a bad rap around, but the scene where the police officers throw away their budges to protect the citizens still brings tears to my eyes. Pure Frank Miller manliness back when he was good.

Sci-Fi feelgood movies
Buckaroo Banzai and Galaxy Quest are pure fun to watch from the beginning to the end.

Yes. You can check it our here:

Thirded for "Last Year". It's an overlooked gem with touching pathos about one's inevitable fate in time-travelling.

Let's just pretend everything was done by God himself, although he hates being called that.
