Actually the manga got quite complicated and deep in the latter years and even philosophical, in terms of human-robot relationships. Tezuka"s stories had the tendency to become dark and brooding even in the kid's mangas.

Any movie starring John Cusack
What makes it rain when he feels miserable?
For a pretty good summary of her early career, check out Japrocksampler by Julian Cope. It details the Japanese years of her life until she met Lennon and her background in experimental music.
Paramount
As a person who marginally works in the industry, I can tell you Paramount's window management is always a big mess. They used to release DVDs in such a hurried fashion, and now it seems they are only interested in newly released movies and don't give a rat's ass about old library titles. I mean, they put…
I just finished reading Coraline and was surprised how the movie was better than the book. Even though I'm a big fan of Neil Gaiman, Coraline in the book came off as a little too aloof and emotionless, whereas in the movie her expressions were a real joy to look at. Also adding the boy helped to clear up the stories…
Old DC Comics character
"Gay Ghost" always made me chuckle.
My theory
Leigh is actually Sinatra's mother and they are in incestuous relationship but are mentally blocked from loving each other from the guilt of committing the sin and this crazy conversation is their best effort to sexually tease each other. More or less.
Hey
Can we have Random Roles of his father? I'd like to know his methods and techniques.
My list
1 A Close Shave
2 The Wrong Trousers
3 Were-Rabbit
4 A Matter Of Loaf And Death
5 A Grand Day Out
Peter Dinklage in the Peter Dinklage role
Who could replace the man, seriously? Warwick Davis? Danny DeVito?
No instrumentals? Damn, Husker Du's "Reoccurring Dreams" would have made a fine addition to this list.
Headline T-shirts
Why did you guys stop selling The Onion headline T-shirts like "Jesus joins NBA" years ago? I thought these were pretty cool and would like to own one today.
Fugazi would talk to the Onion
Or at least Ian MacKaye talked to AV club a couple of years ago.
Teller
Haven't seen the episode yet, but how did Teller critique the food?
It was Morse, and now Braugher?
This show should be renamed HouseHack!
David Boring somewhat reminded me of Paul Auster"s The Invention of Solitude, in terms of the protagonist looking for his father's recollections through fragmented memorabilia.
Yeah Gary was great. Jumped around the stage to the annoyance of other members, and came outside after the show to talk to the fans. I have his autograph/doodling framed on the wall of my room. The band just wasn't the same after he left.
Anton Fier
He should get an honorary mention whenever Feelies are talked about - I think he provided core rhythm to the debut album, and went on to form The Golden Palominos.
Intervista
If you are going to add one more film from Fellini, Intervista captureed the feeling of filmmaking pretty well. It may not focus on the difficulty as much as other films on this list, but it's a nice little gem.
Patrick Stewart
In a subway station in Japan, of all places. I happened to be wearing "X2" T-shirt and I told him how much I was a fan, although he looked understandably uneasy.
