ABC Robot strangling Ian Dury was the only bright spot of that movie.

White people
Maybe it's because I just finished the entire run of The Wire, but the lack of non-Caucasian people in these shows makes me sad.

Speaking of the fifth Beatle, one of The Onion's horoscopes made me laugh aloud:

side by side
Back in the old days, an music album had two sides - side one and side two, and I think some of the Beatles' albums quite vary in quality if you compared their sides.

Carter USM, anyone?
Their "Suicide Isn't Painless" was a direct response to Manic Street Preachers covering "Suicide Is Painless".

Judas Priest
If you play any of their records backwards, you can hear Rob Halford urging you to go fuck yourself. Or something.

Baragon is cool
He used to fight Frankenstein's monster. He was a total badass back in the 60's.

These titles reminds me of Paradox Press, the one which spawned A History Of Violence and Road To Perdition. Let us hope Vertigo Crime gets more successful this time.

As a Japanese can I just say we hardly eat whales, let alone dolphins anymore? Sure there are some areas who catch and eat them but they have been doing so for centuries. If you say whaling is cruel then look at what US Navy is doing with their active sonars.

Young TV actresses and worn-out porn stars
I can't tell the difference between them these days - can you?

According to Japanese wikipedia, Gunpei Yokoi quit Nintendo on his decision, and Yu Suzuki still works at Sega.

I would like to think "300" as Miller's last masterpiece - its reputation has been tarnished since the movie but it looked great when it came out. Also Sin City may seem weak story-wise, but its art was groundbreaking so I still applause Miller for creating that book.

All-star batman and robin
Remember when Frank Miller's comics used to be must-reads?

Shingo Yamashiro
A Japanese actor who appeared in many Yakuza films and later became a well-known TV personality, has passed away this week.

My beef
Login ID and Password on a post-it note, beside the PC, in government office? Really? Even my workplace don't allow that!

Here's one
The Fox News?

Maybe it could work as…
Office Space in Space???
