Is that Bruce Springsteen with a perm in that picture?

You got opinion and fact mixed up mate. James Brown an artist of no merit whatsoever? I beg to differ.
“And “Wrecking Ball” is a modern day “My Heart Will Go On”Sold! I’ll rush to my local record store rrrrright now!
I know it’s just my taste but Del’s voice puts me off like almost no other otherwise legit rapper does. Shame really.
"Loco in Acapulco" by The Four Tops is a similar song in my opinion. Apparently very jaunty but probably made by grinning baby eating robots.
As for Native Tongues affiliates I’d like to stand up for the Stereo MC’s. They collaborated extensively with the Jungle Brothers, and their second album “Supernatural” can be seen as a companion piece to “Done By The Forces Of Nature”, which was partly recorded in the same place. By no means perfect, but a great…
Anybody remember Cody ChestnuTT? He made a pretty weird & awesome lo fi double album [the Headphone Masterpiece] and after that pretty much fell of the map I believe.
I never understood the appeal of LW. Hate his voice, which sounds even uglier when autotuned. Cliched content and a tin ear for beats. But to each his own, I guess.
The word is JEW HARP, not JAW HARP. Although I’m curious as to how a jaw harp might sound.
By this logic Hologram Man is a genius too. Maybe Justin Bieber too.
Which means we got to find a new word for people like Brian Wilson or Arthur Schopenhauer.
It's kinda difficult
to get excited by this if you've grown up on hearing Geto Boys, Gravediggaz, Necro etcetera. It's young kids music man. Now, where are my slippers?
Good to see they're still at it
although I wonder if they'll ever top albums like Hawaii and Cold & Bouncy
Fieldy's Dream
Did you know that bass player Fieldy made The Official Worst Record In HipHop under the name Fieldy's Dream? True story!
I thought his style of rap was topically very interesting, put his 'flow' is really clumsy.
Thanks!
Dear Mr. Hyden,
you made me laugh out loud at "the world's foremost cognitively disabled martial artist trying out some moves in the parking lot outside of the Special Olympics". A great way to start the day.
My sincere thanks, best,
Enkeling.
If you like reading Stones autobiographies
go check out Stone Alone by Bill Wyman. I remember it being quite a good read. Groupies featured quite heavily, I believe.
Great though this article is…
… I find there's a tiny ommission, namely Kool Keith's entire oeuvre. Thanks!
I don't mind the artists I like being mysterious.
I need to get into clothes. I'm being serious. I LOVE socks, and I own some t-shirts, sweaters, pants, and sandals, but I'd like to expand my horizons. How do I do that?
Distant Shore
I'm still a sucker for her debut solo album A Distant Shore. Short and simple, unpolished and pure.
