West Africa
I'm guessing this is too new to have much coverage of the recent insanity in West Africa. Europe's increasing usage is proving Guinea and some other states to be even weaker than the South American whack-a-mole countries.

so tempted
This really does sound like something amazing wrapped in something awful (or is it the other way around?).

hi guys
Did anyone else notice that this is more like True Lies than that other movie they talk about? I couldn't be bothered to read other comments to see if anyone had pointed it out yet. Hey, maybe they pointed it out several times!

Please recap
So I don't have to watch. (Like Heroes.)

I'm just glad he didn't use "on the nose" again. (He saved that one for the New Cult Canon entry I guess.)

Ah, the trials of Sophie.
You're definitely missing some context not having seen the first couple of seasons (although the first season doesn't really get going until it's over), although it's not deadly serious.

Is anyone else itching for a photo of slovenly Todd?

phodreaw, I think you are on to something. In fact, "holoband" is merely an anagram for "hobo land", which surely cannot be a coincidence!

if something happened out of court
you missed something.

How about "oppressively salient"? ("Stiflingly salient" if we're courting consonance.)

Synthesis
A fun episode. They brought out the House in Wilson medically, and then capped it off with the obnoxious ending (which won't be half as fun in a few episodes, I'm thinking).

It's a good thing Terry O'Quinn didn't live to see this awful remake.

Agreed. I felt bad watching that scene because my expectation was "man, he's gonna be pissed he's broke." Maybe that's just me though.

Bulk of the action, eh?
This deaf girl's not exactly a lightweight.

Bah - bad finance
As anyone who's seen Brewster's Millions knows well, it's simply not that easy to lose that much money.

This class talk is really OT. alan, you're confusing upper-class with upper-middle-class. The dollhouse is not for most UMC types, and probably not for all UC types (you need some combination of serious political connections and uber-serious wealth to use these services).

Maybe he wrote a best-selling textbook.

We need some celebrity-filled S.O.D. episode, surely.

Anubis
I hope you have some sort of copyright claim over that storyline (implicit at least). It really sounds awesome.

@Professor Provolone:
I'm not so sure why you're so determined that I should enlighten you, but I didn't use the word "lie" in my post. Regarding the gun statistic, note that Moore doesn't directly assert that it's true. He just puts it out there; probably some guy in Canada really did tell him that 'statistic', so
