Years ago, I took a music appreciation class, "The Rock and Roll Years" at a community college. My teacher posited that the Beach Boys sealed their fate of being a nostalgia band when they opted to not play at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. I recently transferred all my Beach Boys' albums to MP3s and the dates of the

My motto for over 35 years in the white collar business world is "Learn buzzwords: save job."

Is that really winning?

I live in Detroit and have a digital antenna on my guest room tv. 38 channels in all but 5 are Home Shopping and at least 9 are religious. I get TVO and CBC out of Windsor but apparently Windsor doesn't have a CTV channel. I miss out on the best of Canadian TV.

The piano solo in Supertramp's "School". Actually, there are a lot of good piano solos in Supertramp's catalogue.

Technically, wasn't Marley the only spirit to visit Scrooge on Christmas Eve? The next ghost to appear was at 1:00am Christmas Day, if I remember correctly.

Nice list. I would add setting a yacht on fire (with requisite explosions), then wading through the water while laden with guns and supplies and yet not one walker to greet him on the beach.

About 10 years ago, I met, well actually held the door for, Mark Hamill. I was walking out of the Apple Pan in West Los Angeles and as I turned back to talk to my friend, there was Mark Hamill. I blurted out, "Hey, you're Mark Hamill." He said, "Yes, I am. Have nice night." You won't hear that story on the fake news.

I watched the show for Kristen Bell and the moment Mark Hamill walked out was just pure, awesome television. Well done.

All is not lost. I chortled.

It looks like I'll be reprogramming my DVR again.

I was distracted by the flashing green traffic light in the background of the gas station scene. We don't have that in my state. Do other states have that?

It's nearly impossible to imagine Kinison playing Al.
"It shouldn't be too hard [too find our house]. Just follow the buzzards."
The detective flipping a gold ring in his hand says to Al, "From me to you . Don't die with your jewelry on."
The opening disclaimer, "The following depicts a Bundy Christmas. It could be

I watched this show since the beginning and by far the best episode was the 2nd season's Christmas episode, "You Better Watch Out". It is now a Christmas tradition at our house to watch this highly quotable episode. I'm surprised it didn't make the list. "It could be worse…he could've landed on the picket fence."

Yes, but Syd was the subject/inspiration for DSOTM. So there's that.

"Trick or Treat" (1986) had a short scene after the credits with Gene Simmons as a DJ and Ozzy Osbourne as a Reverend, talking about the evils of Rock and Roll. I only knew about it because the theatre usher told us, "If you could watch the whole movie, you should stay until the credits are over."

TCM showed Psycho last night prior to this episode so all the scenes from the movie were fresh in my mind. TV is my friend.

I liked the movie and as the show got closer to airing in 1997, I was worried that Sarah Michelle Gellar was too petite (as compared to Swanson) to pull off the role of a slayer. Boy was I happily wrong.

I'm here. I'm here. I watched Bates Motel and recorded Humans for tonight's viewing.

You mean Caleb's new show?
