Except
for the fact that Diane Lane is HOOOOOOOOOTTT. And I'm a girl saying this. Not a lesbian girl, either.

I heard
Zach Galifianakis is in this. What part does he play?
PS
I like Delmer Daves, also, so your comment about Cahiers doesn't mean a thing. I've also never read a review by Truffaut, just as you never went to film school. So I think we're both even in unfounded accusations.
Ahem
Ok, my defense of 'guy' was bullshit, especially since I then referred to you as 'he', so I'll take that one in the gut.
And if
You meant moral objectivity, I think my opinion about the ambiguity at the end of the movie should address that.
Sorry
"guy" is really a neuter term in American slang now. When I'm talking to a group of girlfriends at a bar, I say "You guys" all the time.
Also
OK monkeylovespigeon
I'm pretty sick of arguing, so I'm going to take a deep breath and write one more post before I bury this shit in the ground and move on:
BTW
Has anyone seen Fishing With John??? Amazing.
What????
Let's beat 'em up.
And thanks
Lobsters 1. This Welsh guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
Sentimental Melodrama
Grapes of Wrath and How Green Was My Valley: Sentimental Melodrama= yes. That doesn't mean that the subject and themes in those movies was pompous or overreaching. Definitely NOT. Actually, at least with HGWMV, it's incredibly moving and relatable.
monkeylovespigeon
Got that from your post-modernist cookie cutter film professor, did you?
Oh, and I forgot
How Green Was My Valley, The Searchers, The Grapes of Wrath….
monkeylovespigeon
John Ford's movies are vapid pompous melodramas????? Have you SEEN The Man who Shot Liberty Valence??? Sheesh.
uwe boll
Is totally insane, self-deluded and…comPLETEly awesome! Great interview.
I actually agree with Lobsters
Friedkin is very underrated I think, despite the huge successes of The Exorcist and The French Connection. I also think he's earned the right to be humorless and eccentric, although I do think it was funny when Nathan made the comment about the Exorcist being a modern Tracy and Hepburn…
Wow
He actually has a brain. Didn't know musicians had those.
Harriet the Spy????
I loved that movie. I don't see what it has to do with anything, though.
I don't know
I thought she was pretty good and her voice is kind of sexy. I've never seen Weeds so I don't know if it's a good show or not, but her acting isn't half as bad as I expected.
