I just started getting caught up to these write-ups (which are great), but I thought Claire watching Badlands earlier in the episode was a nice touch, if a little on-the-nose.

Are these not associated with the friar's club anymore? I distinctly remember Rob Reiner's Roast being a Friar's Club roast and that one was pretty funny.

I like this new feature, but why is this one weekly and 100 episodes barely monthly?

I guess I'm the only one who cares, but SPOILERS for Damages, man. I haven't caught up to last week's yet.

I had about the same experience with Hairstyles of the Damned. Read it right after Perks of Being a Wallflower, just before I graduated high school. Perks didn't really hold up well when I reread it a few years later, and I imagined that Hairstyle, which I found similar in tone, wouldn't either.

Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series:
IronE Singleton, T-Dog

I'm just hoping a tape surfaces where Amy Adams calls him a motherfucker in between takes.

I'm confused by this one; the '100 episodes' feature implicitly suggests some kind of a shelf life for syndication shouldn't it? Survivor's probably rerunning on some channel, but does that mean the same thing as a sitcom getting to the magic number and getting a syndication deal?

Sort of like when CJ randomly was strongly opposed to affirmative action.
