oh no….serious? See that's what I don't get, when you have a source material as in depth and as random as Superman (he has a flying dog for cripe's sake) and you make a movie that just blows. so painful.

I've read Joyland by Stephen King, I was underwhelmed. Felt more like an idea for a novel than a novel in itself. The ghost didn't seem all that important after all that.
Also read a bunch of graphic novels, superman ones in preparation to watching the latest movie.
Oh and I've nearly finished "Who is the Doctor? :

*spoilers??*
Yeah…I don't remember either…possibly Ghost-dog lady…

Go to Dennys it can save your life.

thanks

Ahhh that makes sense…well for superhero/movie logic.

I read Joyland by Stephen King over the weekend, it was ok, i liked having something new by King to read, but it wasn't mindblowing. I read the All Star Superman graphic novel on Sunday after watching Superman Returns Sat night, the comic is way better than that movie. I just couldn't switch of Sheldon's voice noting

The inclusion of a dying psychic child and his suspicious mother feels simultaneously    random and like a King cliché.

I read this because of this review…and I hated it. The main character hates himself, never goes in-depth about the adventures outside the time loop he's caught himself in and the whole "fix" is pure random chance….so lame.
