Fair enough. If you are a person who generally enjoys musicals, that is a good note for you then. I usually loathe musical theater and this was a major outlier for me just because of how ridiculous it was.

I do have to say that the Broadway musical is hilarious. It's just a ridiculous, self-mocking parody where the songs (that the show is in no way claiming are good, or all hair metal, or all Sunset Strip, or anything other than airy ridiculousness) crop up in the most hysterical of contexts. The show is a great time

I think that was part of the point, though. That Jax is changing, and it's the opposite of better and smarter.

And they definitely confirmed her death several times in the episode. Unser told Clay about in no uncertain terms.

Thanks. And… hmmm. Not that I want another flashback episode, but damn. I'd kind of have to see that to believe it. That he'd be that committed to suffering again for that long. Very curious about that leg of it.

I did love Xander's, "Uh, actually I graduated last year so I don't go to school?" moment, though. Guess Dana's parents don't care to know much about who their daughter is sleeping with!

As someone who just started watching this show a few days ago (and has since binged like the maddening crack it is, and is now caught up), I have a question about something I may have missed by watching it in such concentrated doses.

When in reality she is neither a redhead nor a natural blonde.

And the VP is not supposed to know Nazir was Brody's captor/torturer. In his debriefing, Brody insisted that he never once saw Nazir. Only Carrie knows Nazir was in the room with him, the rest of the CIA does not (yet).

I hope the show addresses the fact that this idea that Dexter only kills those who've slipped through the cracks in the system is complete bullshit. He's repeatedly withheld/concealed evidence against people he wants to kill, and he's also thwarted the cops' pursuit of people he wants to kill. Innocents have died as a
