It was definitely pretty amazing how a conversation that from any other two people was essentially, "Dude, why are you this ridiculous?" "This one time when I was a kid I punched another kid and made him cry and it was awesome." turned into what read to Russell as a nurturing therapy session. Well done.

These characters commit assault in every single episode, and frequently just for their own gain rather than protection. They are really, really bad people. I guess I'm a little confused as to why this episode's centerpiece was somehow the last straw? Personally, I thought the weakest part was the bit with the stepson

Those punching sound effects were laughable. The scene itself made no sense to me, but I know SoA likes to bloody up a few characters in whatever way possible each week, so I accepted it…. until those awful punch noises.

Serena actually did go to Columbia for a little while, only to end up never going to class and having an affair with a professor. As you do.

They've always been a fun little band. And I have a certain nostalgia for them from their Lookout days. And they still sound like very straightforward pop punk to me, just way more produced post-Kerplunk, so I never really get the big "how can anyone say they were ever punk?!" argument.I also maybe don't really get

The canned laughter on How I Met Your Mother kills me.
