Did I hit the dog? Is he dead?

Conviction
So what's the depressing postscript? Likely won't see this movie but still curious.

"with a script being written by Band Of Brothers' Erik Jendresen"

book vs musical
Wonder if this means they will follow the book instead of the musical, what with the very different fate of Fiero in the book vs. the musical and the her whole trip to Fiero's kingdom, etc…
That would be an interesting take and still leave room for a movie version of the musical…

PO's Werewolves and Lollipops, FTW. Although I'm a die-hard so I think all his CDs are comedy gold.

Rabbits aren't rodents. Though I'm sure gerbil wishes they were.

Victor/Victoria
still one of my fave movies. Andrews' chemistry with the fantastic Robert Preston was pure movie magic.

would you ask that about Tom Petty?

awesome
maybe because i am an unapologetic Dresden Dolls fan and maybe because in my secret heart i have a girl crush on AP, but I thought she rocked it. She puts so much passion into everything she does and I respect that. That song demands a strong performance and she gave it.

stupid local PBS station
Is airing this Thursday at 2am. Bastards. Not everyone has a DVR.

Someone (maybe an article, or review, or a fan, can't remember) once described The Avett Brothers as "thrashgrass", a word I found very fitting.

Thirded! I am so happy you chose to cover them Nabin! Maybe its because I'm an NC native that makes me view these guys as "mine" and so I talk them up to everyone I can. Now I can just point them to this article to make them see whats so special about my boys

if by unspeakably bad you meant to say unspeakably awesome then yes, I agree. There was so much enthusiasm, joy and fun in that auditorium. I was front row and it was just overwhelming.

Dollhouse was done with her, and while she isn't the best part of the show (that would be the collective awesomeness of Fran Kranz, Olivia Williams, and the dude who played Victor whose name I won't even try to butcher) the show is well worth watching.

dammit you beat me to it. my comment was totes gonna be: something something at least Galactic President Super McAwesomeville is still up for grabs something something".

His version of "The River" still makes every single one of my Christmas playlists.

@sarCCastro exactly what I scrolled down to say. If we can have Illyria as the prosecution, I'm there.

Angel/Buffy offscreen meet
I imagine they had to do some balancing act between honoring the history of B&A and budget/contract issues. The love of your life comes back from the dead and all you get is a phone call? Or no acknowledgement at all? That wouldn't cut it with the fans. But of course there are all kinds

The Auto Recycler-o-Matic knows all!
Which is why it has Perry Farrell showing below. Random coincidence or because Janes Addiction is mentioned above? Freaky. Like those stupid facebook ads that want me to buy stupid t shirts with Big Lebowski quotes on them because facebook told them I like the Dude.

I should also add ditto to Zulkey's "two props is a bitch" comment. For Maude I carried around the viking staff and a fake bowling ball I had made out of styrofoam. Good for pictures, terrible for trying to drink.
