I was okay with Rosseti earlier in the season. Most mobsters are violent, irrational men and it could well be that one managed to move up the ranks into what seems to be the equivalent of a Capo position. Happened often enough. But Gyp just seems flat out fucking loony to the point which he distracts from the story

I was wondering if they were going to run with that. The two men did live together in real life, although there was more than a decade difference in age. Harry was married, though his wife stayed in Ohio due to illness. (At least that's what I'm getting from Wikipedia.)

I'd say it's a combination of things. First and foremost Jack Huston is fantastic in a role where he only has half a face to act with. Secondly, his character has almost exactly the right combination of genuine pathos, mystery, humor, danger and honor that any good break out character will show. It doesn't hurt that

I think you made a good point about Gyp killing one of his own. Most gangsters are unstable violent men with poor impulse control. However, directing that violence into their own ranks, even at an underling, is a huge misstep. I'm pretty sure it won't be Harrow killing Rosseti, but instead his lieutenant will be the

Yeah, once they didn't cut back to the Turkish bath I knew he was gone. I think the lesson Boardwalk Empire is trying to teach us is to never attempt to better your life, run off with anyone or be a non-historical character.

So, is Agent Sawicki dead as well? Because killing a federal agent, even a corrupt one, is rather bad for business. I assume he might well have been paid off by Masseria to spy on Thompson.

Oh, it's either him or Harrow who'll be putting Gyp in the ground by season's end.

So how many people live in Tabor Heights? Two hundred dollars a month for each resident, or maybe just each household, is still a pretty hefty sum.

I think you're right. There also might be some quid pro quo in which Harrow kills Gillian and either takes custody of Tommy or lets the Thompsons take care of him (it's not that weird: Nucky killed the father of his stepchildren).

Rossetti surviving this season would be the biggest surprise this show has ever pulled off.
