I was just about to comment on the lack of Silence of the Lambs myself. I figured it would have been a top fifty film.

I did groan about the car not starting. I'll buy an excuse that it's 1923 and cars aren't all that reliable, but still.

Wow, I had to check the news. I thought something had happened to Bobby Budnick (who turns 37 this year….oh, the inexorable march of time).

I put him decently high up on my dead pool list, but who knows. I definitely could see him hanging out despite himself, especially, as Bob pointed out below, with history on his side.

I looked it up and (SPOILER) Tabor Heights is fictional. Really though, I agree with you that a small town, as long as none of the locals are molested, would look the other way if gangsters took it over. Hell, whole cities had functioning successful mobs until rather recently and you had cases such as Phenix City,…

From what I've read Kotex only became popular in the '20s, so it wouldn't be unheard of for people to turn up their noses at it.

I was originally hoping for some sort of a cat and mouse game between Nucky and Owen vs. this unknown force coming after them, with a reveal at the end who it was. What we got was better, but I'd still have enjoyed my idea working out.

I liked Rowland and up until the cigarette I was 50/50 on his chances of survival. As soon as that happened, I said out loud, "oh, he's going to get shot." Not sure if I'm reading too deeply, but especially after the last episode had him mulling over it, Nucky clearly doesn't want anyone like Jimmy potentially…

Here's what I'm thinking about the Tabor Heights situation. Apparently there's only one decent road, or at least a straight shot, between Atlantic City and New York. That's believable, at least to me. The Lincoln Highway wasn't all that great even at this time. I can't remember how long it took Eisenhower and his men…

I think Buscemi's Nucky is interesting largely because he's not your traditional gangster, so I don't have too many qualms about the role or the portrayal. My question to you is who would you have rather seen in that role?
