I was halfway worried about that as well, despite knowing the outcome of the books. I could certainly have seen SPOILERS FOR BOOK THREE Bronn being unable to assist Tyrion not for bribery but for being dead instead. Wouldn't put it past GRRM to pull the rug out from under us. Thankfully he did not.

What, no Rhaegar? Argh!

Probably off with the Reeds and Ramsay in the "it was either cast more people or do this episode" pile. I do miss them. Still have Bronn though.

Stannis. Holy cow. For someone who has been pretty bloodless as a character, he's now become one of the show's major badasses. Just awesome piled on top of awesome.

I'd argue for this being the best episode of the series thus far. Just great.

I believe they'll be splitting book three into two seasons and I'd imagine they'd need at least three to cover books four and five. Still, five more years to get two books out (unless they go all Sopranos with it and take longer breaks in between the seasons) for someone with the writing speed of Martin might be

I thought Series 7 was exceptional but its been a while since I've seen it. Didn't think the actors did a bad job either.

I'm surprised it was this far down. Well done.

I'm fairly certain that the show isn't at an end. But I'd still put up any of those three episodes as worse than this current one. I think we could probably get some others from the first season, or the earlier part of this season, as lesser examples of the art form that is Community. Truth be told, I'm not a fan of

The Aviator was really good and Gangs of New York featured the best performance I've seen from Daniel Day Lewis (Di Caprio was fine, Diaz was awful). The Departed was excellent. Never saw that other film they shot on that island.

That was the worst SNL episode of the season (his little brother sketch was the only decent part). Of course, being a fan of LSU and the Eagles might have the slightest amount to do with it, but man, the only thing that episode reminded me of was that Rhianna is a very attractive woman who can sing and Payton Manning

MASH wasn't all that great when it tried for drama.

But was the NDAA recent enough for them to riff on? I thought they were done at that point.

(Oh, no, I bought my meth from him!?)

Too bad Sci-Fi (I think it was called that once way back) didn't pick up Firefly. We could still be debating when it went off the rails then.
