I was happy to see a mention of Delany, at the end. He's a favorite. This reminds me of someone's reaction to Avatar being touted (apparently it was, at the time) as a huge step forward for science fiction film. They commented that it was sort of true: with Avatar big budget sf film jumped from being roughly at parity

When I saw the trailer for this, the moment Nolte appeared I kind of assumed it would end with him eating Redford. The tone suggested otherwise.

Bond commits sexual assault in SKYFALL. It's just not as blatant as in GOLDFINGER.

The vidcon event of this epoch.

It's rather rote in the plot department and the short campaign doesn't quite manage to push its mechanics as far as they can go, but those mechanics are actually solid (supported by great audio design/general feel for the GUNZ) and the co-op was pretty great (when you could find people to play). One of the better

I hate it. Hate it. Hate it.

I know I'm *shameless*.

My friend—who works for MacKaye on the Dischord archives—found this and brought it to MacKaye's attention. She's gone non-attributed ghost viral, I guess.

The Walt Whitman episode is the best Dead Author's Podcast has ever been. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for titanic feats of comical pastiche idk.

I always had trouble getting into this one, I think because I wore out LIVE & OBSCURE after getting it as a gift when I was a teenager ~16 years ago. For years it was the only Townes I had ever heard, so if any song has a version on there I'm going to prefer that rendition through conditioning if no other reason.

As an allegedly professional knifemaker the thought that this dude will be on television spreading the gospel of HUGE BADASS VIDCON SWORDS kind of makes me want to apply my own work to my own junk but uh.
