I think Zhao briefly (and vaguely) refers to Iroh's spirit world travels while they are on the ship going towards the Northern Water Tribe in the first of the final Season 1 episodes. Also, later in Season 2, when Iroh is captured by Earth Kingdom soldiers and Aang goes on a spirit world journey, Iroh can see

"The Storm" is the episode that made me fall in love with the show. There had been some great moments (in, for example, the Southern Air Temple, and the Summer Solstice eps), but this episode was utter perfection.

I see El Tigre Chino's point about it being a little unfair to compare to something with rich source material, but the Arthurian legend is just as rich. It's just that the Starz version is poorly executed and seemingly not very well thought-out. I
