It really would make a lot of sense if they showed any advantages of being in league with the Saviors. Especially if there was a group that was exceptionally weak or vulnerable to Walkers but was able to produce, it would be good explication showing that some groups thought the "protection" of the Saviors was sort of

Watching Negan brag about his shabby SRO apartment made me think of how much nicer the houses are at Alexandria.

What were those prisoners (with the letters spray-painted on their sweatshirts) doing with the zombies in the yard? It looked like they were trying to kill them, but if they've survived this long, that shouldn't be an issue, right? It looked like they were having trouble. So what was it, prison exercise time? And if

Upvote for "Outsiders" reference!

It was nice to hear that one runaway whom Dwight tracked down point out what commenters here (and no doubt others) have mentioned, which is, there is only one Negan, and lots of people to go up against him.

I feel like it's risky, too - I mean, if they do a one week = Negan, next week = Kingdom, following week = Negan, etc. I'll just probably skip the Negan weeks. (Actually, no I'll just wish I had.) We don't have to check in with each and every character, but with only a handful of locations, I wish we could visit more

I think it's mostly story convenience — plus, Rick is a sh*tstorm magnet, so he drew Negan's eyes right to Alexandria as if he was carrying the One Ring and slid it onto his grimy little finger.

yes

Better, though, because they're not wasting resources growing stuff to feed the pigs that they're going to give to Negan — it's brilliant, really.

Which one is Ben again? The little boy off to movie night?

thank you for posting the how-to! <3

On the Talking Dead, the actor was saying how he was right next to a real-life tiger, and he had to act all calm and chill and the OTHER people were supposed to be scared. I had been hoping it was CGI (who cares if it looks fake - this isn't a show about realism) because especially with these large, wild animals,

specially built for cool-guy stance…

I believe it's in Alexandria, VA and it's not the name of the housing development — so when they refer to home/housing development, they just say Alexandria.

Maybe there should be a separate thread, a la Game of Thrones, for
people who read the comic. I like to read posts about the differences,
as long as they are about things that happened in the past and don't
deal with what is going to happen. Although things are changed on the tv
show, it seems like the major things

It might not have been a bad idea to insert bits of this episode into last week's — like, instead of the RV road trip.

Hopefully you're being just pessimistic, if you're being spoilery, please don't!

I think on the Talking Dead, they mentioned that a real tiger was there, too - which is to say, there's CGI, probably, but also a real tiger.

This was the first time in a while that I met new characters whom I actually wanted to get to know better. Even the spokesman for Negan seemed somewhat reasonable. Somewhat.

I think, though, it's not a movie that's aged well - looks silly now, but was at top effectiveness when it first came out.
