this was the best ep of television I've seen this year. There has been some great stuff…but the ending made me jump up. I kept waiting for a voiceover to start…but the credit for captioning had run and I was wondering what the hell?

I agree that the Miami Vice pilot is one of the best ever. I thought Millenium had a great pilot…but then the show went to shit quick… Max Headroom had a decent pilot in back in the before time in the long long ago. Oh and ER was strong.
