I too am from Maryland and I love imitation Krab, especially as an integral ingredient in Giant Foods' Cajun Krab Dip!

I discovered lo-fi master Jack Logan's "Mood Elevator" and rediscovered "Bulk," his double-album debut. Does anyone remember this guy? There was a buzz around him in the mid-90s but he seems to be largely forgotten, which is a shame.

I'm 150+ pages into Brief History of Seven Killings by Marlon James. Impressive (and a bit disorienting), so far.

Don't forget that Clarence White and Skip Battin sang on a few tunes during their late 60s-early 70s period. Maybe Gene Parsons and John York sang lead on the songs their songs from Ballad of easy Rider?

Ah I said the same thing! you got to it before me.

Whattabout Hawkwind? Nik Turner, Dave Brock, Robert Calvert, Tim Blake, Richard Chadwick, Bridget Wishart, Mr Dibs, Ron Tree, Dead Fred

I'm surprised he didn't use this opportunity to mention yet again how much he hates Urge Overkill.

"Why don't you make yourself useful and get me a cold drink?"

Waterboys - The version of Return of Jimi Hendrix from the live album Karma to Burn blows away the synthy album track.

Wait, so Terriers features an ex-cop teamed up with an ex-criminal? They ripped off Troy McClure's Handle With Care!

Yeah. I remember seeing the video for "Sea of Sorrow" on Headbanger's Ball before grunge came along.

Paul - what do you need me to sell, babe?

Mitch Mitchell = great drummer (Jimi Hendrix Experience), great guitarist (GBV).

RE: Worst member of CSNY. read Neil Young's biography, Shakey. Stills is obnoxious, but Crosby comes off as such a POS. My favorite part is after the Manson murders where he and Stills bust into their coke-dusted hippie mansion strapped with a range of firearms, yelling "they're killing people with estates!"

He's so unintentionally hilarious in that role, especially the part where he freaks out when the plastic explosives are triggered and just starts firing his gun into the air for no reason.

@avclub-920530cb8744c679e3a2ece84f1d5ce4:disqus great call on "Moonlight Feels Right" by marimba-driven Atlanta band Starbuck.

Jack his jaw, Ernest. That's just a bunch of bull.

I think that's Gene Clark collaborator Carla Olsen playing the Tom Petty stand-in the Dwight Twilley vid.

Are you talking about the Intruder starring William Shatner? Never seen it but it sounds surreal.
