I will say this- in the battle of McCartney v. Lennon, Lennon has the better Christmas song "Merry Xmas (War is Over)". But I still love the pop synth in  "Wonderful Christmas Time".

Claire, I love your pieces 99.9% of the time. This is the .01 I wholeheartedly disagree. "Wonderful Christmas Time" is a perfect McCartney song.
