Oh shit. Cersei is going to accidentally take down the Wall, isn't she? I feel like the only logical way to intersect the storylines of the Pyrrhic war and the real one are to have the Pyrrhic war undermine the real one overtly.

Littlefinger plots with the Night King to get zombie Joffrey to kill Bran!
Question of the Week: I found myself surprisingly rooting for Daenerys to decimate the Lannister army just because I'm tired of Jaime and Cersei. That's literally my whole motivation - hoping that storyline ends soon because it seems irrelevant to the show at this point.
And, that's fair and I see that point. All I'm saying (as someone who thinks well of Sweeney) is that I think the creative intent may have been different. I THINK the joke was on the stupid side-characters who were so invasive that they demanded to know Pat's identity. I thought their over-the-top efforts earned…
I saw Hangover 2 and I don't remember it well-enough to know what you're talking about. (Not saying it wasn't anti-trans - just that it was SUPER forgettable so I don't remember…)
That's… a preposterous argument. We don't work through problems in decreasing order of importance.
HBO is worried that they're gonna have pirated ravenstreams… from the Iron Islands.
Well, I guess I'd like to hear more about those actual experiences. On its own, I'm just confused as to why this is anti-trans because I thought the joke of Pat was always on the OTHER characters, not Pat. But I'm happy to learn.
Yeah, that's really it. Pat isn't really doing ridiculous things - most of the schtick (such as it was) was just the over-the-top invasive nonsense the other characters did. I really don't get this as anti-trans. Stupid, one-note, forgettable? Yeah. Hateful, no.
Not to be confused with the zero-joke characters that stopped being funny after 30 seconds but was stretched out into recurring characters AND a movie for some reason… A Night at the Roxbury!
Fair point.
Was that everyone? I didn't really understand if they'd broken off - Randyll talked about women returning to KL, I thought others may have as well…
You know what else? Dan Aykroyd was totally slut-shaming Jane Curtin for years!!!!! Horrible!
Looking back, I think that Massive Headwound Harry was really insensitive to people with CTE.
I can't tell how much to make of the whole Golden Company deal… that seems like a fairly big shift to make to the story at this late stage, and I would think Cersei would take a WHILE to marshal those troops together? What do you peeps make of the Iron Bank subplot?
I thought the joke of Pat was that the other characters were wastefully obsessed with her identity, not that something was wrong with Pat? I'm genuinely confused. It felt like a lampoon on people wasting energy trying to dissect the gender of others…
Bran knows what Littlefinger did->Arya is going to kill Littlefinger.
The critical reaction to this movie reminds me of the aphorism, "Don't let perfect be the enemy of the good." There is a lot of wisdom and thoughtfulness in the criticism of the movie and its making. But it's an incredibly powerful and strong piece of filmmaking. And, I think the movie coheres quite strongly and…
I have 2 too! It's basically like my life didn't change!
Harmony Korine movies are justifiably not categorized with any other movies.
