That's right… but didn't she also think he's dead?

Agreed. Also, she has to wrestle with this question - how much retribution should she take out given that her family was pretty awful? I.E., is standing up for the Mad King something she wants to do?
I get that Ilyn Payne has character. But he's one of these mostly one-dimensional baddies (like Gregor or Meryn) and I don't really care if he dies. I think he's pretty consistently described as cruel in the books, regardless of how much Jaime likes him - he was a dick to Pod, I think.
I totally agree. But Joffrey is dead and she didn't get to kill him. She'll want to kill Ilyn.
It is admittedly crazy. Melisandre is a pretty weird choice as well. I think she won't get to any of those - whatever is happening with Thoros, Sandor, Beric, and Melisandre is going to go crazy on its own.
She will not give Ilyn Payne a pass. Arya isn't a Blue Lives Matter type.
Arya is going to Kings' Landing. I don't think she can kill Cersei yet, or at all - Jaime has to kill her. So what happens next?
I don't think evil could happen without madness. Motivations aren't there and there's not enough time left.
They were going to let GRRM have more of a hand, but he was doing talk shows for the past six years and writing blog posts about the Giants.
I think Daenerys definitely dies. Here's my theory:
100%. My only quibble is I think he also deserved it for his King Kong. As great as he's been in so many movies, that stands the tallest for me.
The Wedding Toast?
K.
I know there are only 12 episodes left, but can we have one that is just 50% Brienne and Tormund on a date and 50% Lady Mormont running Bear Island for a week?
I'm just referring to the headline.
What are they missing about primogeniture? Genuinely curious.
I mostly agree, though I think they foreshadowed it nicely - I realized this was going to happen right before when Woody found the doll.
He doesn't?
Why did you feel that way? I'm a big fan.
It's so smartly different from the series now that it's hard to figure out where they'd take the "Planet of the Apes" stories. I think the backstory for the human interlopers will be very different, at the least.
